Practice Lead, Data & Analytics (AI)

Location: Los Angeles, CA or New York, NY; on-site. Travel to client sites is required when dictated by the project, including travel outside the primary office location, state, or region.

What you will do

• Lead the US Data & Analytics practice, including technical direction, business development, team development, and project delivery.
• Own practice revenue, annual budgets, resource allocation, project management, and practice-level profit and loss management.
• Partner with vendors, leadership, sales, marketing, and clients to identify opportunities, develop proposals, and win consulting work.
• Architect solutions, create documentation and delivery estimates, and translate client business needs into technical and non-technical requirements.
• Lead consulting projects through setup, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Maintain executive client relationships, facilitate workshops, communicate project status, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in consulting or a data-focused role, including expert-level SQL experience.
• 3+ years of professional services and pre-sales experience as a data architect.
• Strong knowledge of cloud analytics tools and platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, plus relational databases and data warehouses.
• Significant experience with self-service BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker, and with troubleshooting complex analytics solutions.
• 10+ years of project management, process, implementation, system integration, and SDLC experience in Agile environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, information systems, computer science, business administration, or a related analytical field; Media & Entertainment or adjacent industry experience is required.

• Experience at a large consulting firm such as Accenture, Deloitte, EY, Capgemini, or PwC.
• Ability to automate data-related tasks with scripts and programming languages.
• Experience profiling, exploring, and analyzing data to identify common patterns.
• Familiarity with established and emerging data technologies.
