Senior DevSecOps Engineer (PKI)

What you will do

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise DevSecOps capabilities focused on security automation, platform engineering, PKI, and certificate lifecycle management.
• Define standards for certificate and key management, including policies, cryptographic standards, rotation, validity, and revocation.
• Lead migration from multiple Certificate Authorities and certificate platforms to a centralized PKI platform with Zero Touch PKI and SaaS-backed CA capabilities.
• Build automation for certificate discovery, provisioning, renewal, remediation, monitoring, and inventory across cloud, servers, Kubernetes, applications, and network devices.
• Enable developer self-service through APIs, infrastructure-as-code, automation, and integrations with platforms such as ServiceNow.
• Set architectural direction, review technical solutions, manage risks, and advise client, business, vendor, and engineering stakeholders.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, Security Engineering, Platform Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, Entra, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code technologies.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, PowerShell, or a similar scripting or programming language.
• Experience managing security certificates, building API integrations, and automating complex enterprise workflows.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, modern DevOps practices, and embedding security controls into software and infrastructure delivery.
• Strong technical leadership, communication, consulting, architecture, and vendor-collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Zero Touch PKI and CyberArk Certificate Manager, formerly Venafi.
• Knowledge of PKI, X.509, certificate authorities, trust chains, key management, and revocation.
• Experience automating certificate inventory and provisioning across Linux, Windows, AWS, GCP, Entra, IoT devices, Kubernetes, and Cloudflare.
• Experience with PKI modernization, legacy CA migration, ACME, SCEP, EST, and cloud-native certificate and secrets management.
