Summer 2027 Intern - Financial Operations - Data Analytics

Location: Hybrid work in Bloomington, Illinois; Dunwoody, Georgia; Richardson, Texas; or Tempe, Arizona. Interns should work from home and in the office 2–3 days per week.

Pay: $28.00 per hour, plus a $2,000 internship stipend.

What you will do

• Use business intelligence, financial and statistical resources, analytical software, and visualization techniques to deliver data-driven solutions.
• Build or modify data applications by designing, coding, testing, and implementing project requirements.
• Support modernization efforts that improve data availability and future analytical capabilities.
• Prepare complex data as user-friendly reports with actionable insights.
• Collaborate with Financial Operations and analytics teams on research, reporting, and decision-support activities.

Requirements

• Minimum GPA of 3.5 out of 4.0 overall and in the major.
• Pursuing a degree in Business Analytics, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Must remain enrolled in at least one course through the end of the internship and be available for the full internship period from June 2 through August 11, 2027.
• Programming experience with SAS, SQL, R, Python, or related analytics software.
• Experience with AWS Cloud Platform, database querying, data modeling, statistics, and data visualization.
• Knowledge of BI tools such as QlikSense, QuickSight, or Power BI; proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, including advanced formulas and automation.
