Summer 2027 Data and Analytics Internship

Location: Columbus, Ohio, United States; office-based. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Immigration sponsorship is not available, including sponsorship for F-1, H-1B, O-1, TN, or E-3 status.

What you will do

• Contribute to data-intensive projects and meaningful business initiatives across assigned business segments.
• Pull, clean, and scrub datasets for analysis.
• Perform data analysis and support data-driven business decisions.
• Create data visualization products and presentation materials.
• Apply Huntington’s innovation framework to a business-relevant team project.
• Participate in structured professional development, leadership interactions, volunteer activities, and internal events.

Requirements

• High school graduate.
• Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate university program, with at least one academic term remaining after the summer program.
• Demonstrated teamwork and leadership through extracurricular activities or work experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Nice to have

• Coursework or a major in information technology, data science, data analytics, business analytics, quantitative studies, or a related field.
• Coursework in data analysis, data structures, quantitative methods, or data modeling.
• Knowledge of SQL, Tableau, Python, Power BI, JavaScript, or R.
• Interest in banking as a career and ability to apply sound judgment and logical or critical thinking.
