Intern Data Analytics (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid internship based at one of the following U.S. offices: Lakeville, Mankato, or Rochester, Minnesota; Eau Claire, Wisconsin; or Bloomington, Illinois. Up to 50% work from home.

Salary: $20–$21 USD per hour. The internship is part-time during the school year and full-time through summer 2027.

What you will do

• Collect, model, and analyze data to support business decision-making.
• Analyze internal financial strength and creditworthiness data together with external macroeconomic datasets.
• Use SQL, R, Python, SAS, Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, and AI tools in analytical work.
• Contribute to team projects independently and collaboratively.
• Support cost-containment and operational-efficiency initiatives.
• Build professional relationships and explore potential full-time career opportunities.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
• Visa sponsorship or transfer of employment visa sponsorship is not available.
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Ideal candidates are college juniors or non-graduating seniors.
• Proficiency with PowerBI, Python, R, Microsoft Excel, AI tools, or other data analytics tools.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and provide excellent client service.

Nice to have

• Coursework or experience in data analytics, data modeling, or financial analysis.
• CPT or pre-opt candidates are invited to apply.
