HVAC Technician - IAH Airport (HAS) (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Perform routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
• Inspect, monitor, operate, troubleshoot, and repair motors, compressors, pumps, fans, ducts, pipes, thermostats, switches, and related mechanical systems.
• Diagnose malfunctions and determine appropriate repair methods, including replacing parts and filters.
• Read blueprints, piping sketches, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Record maintenance, repair, and inspection activities in CMMS systems.
• Follow safety programs and work effectively in a diverse airport environment.

Requirements

• HVAC Universal Certification required.
• At least 5 years of HVAC maintenance and repair experience required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to understand blueprints and electrical schematics and diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment.
• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, on ladders, and in varying weather conditions.
• Must be able to obtain an airport badge for work in secure areas and work day or night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
