HVAC Technician (Airport Operations)

Location: US-CA-Los Angeles-LAX Airport-LAXTEC; full-time onsite airport operations

Pay: $35–$37 per hour

What you will do

• Maintain, repair, and optimize HVAC systems and associated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility systems.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and service motors, pumps, compressors, ducts, and controls.
• Perform brazing, soldering, welding, pipefitting, and fabrication.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Follow company safety guidelines and required training procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Valid C-20 license and driver's license.
• At least three years of related HVAC or electrical maintenance and repair experience in a commercial facility.
• Ability to obtain airport security clearance.
• Availability for day or night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work outdoors on an airport ramp, in confined spaces, around aircraft, vehicles, and heavy equipment, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Experience in airport operations.
• Knowledge of Johnson Controls systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Basic proficiency with computers and common software applications.
