Principal Solutions Architect (AI)

Location: Remote, US. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship.

Total compensation: USD $275,000–$350,000 annually, with bonus opportunity tied to company performance.

TrendAI is hirify.global's enterprise AI security business unit, providing AI visibility and security across infrastructure, applications, and public-facing AI systems.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary technical subject matter expert for AI Security across the US Solutions Engineering organization and support strategic opportunities end-to-end.
• Architect and present solutions for AI infrastructure security, including model training and serving pipelines, GPU and cloud AI workloads, MLOps toolchains, and compute and data infrastructure.
• Secure LLM-integrated applications, RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, customer-facing AI applications, and APIs against prompt injection, data poisoning, model theft, abuse, exposure, and data leakage.
• Lead technical discovery, solution architecture, and proof-of-concept engagements for major AI security opportunities.
• Build reference architectures, demo environments, and enablement content; present to CISOs, security architects, and AI/ML engineering leaders.
• Partner with Product Management on the AI security roadmap, track competitive positioning, mentor Solutions Engineers and Architects, and represent TrendAI at industry events, webinars, and analyst briefings.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in security architecture, solutions engineering, or a related pre-sales or technical role.
• Strong working knowledge of AI/ML system architecture, including model training and serving infrastructure, MLOps pipelines, and cloud AI services such as AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, and GCP Vertex AI.
• Hands-on understanding of LLM application security risks, including the OWASP Top 10 for LLM Applications, prompt injection, jailbreaks, data poisoning, and model extraction or theft.
• Experience securing public-facing applications and APIs, including API security, WAF, and exposure management.
• Familiarity with CSPM, CNAPP, or equivalent cloud-native security tooling.
• Excellent executive presentation, communication, and technical storytelling skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with Trend Vision One or a comparable XDR/CNAPP platform.
• Security certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, or cloud-specific security certifications.
• Experience designing and running technical PoC or demo environments for AI security use cases.
• Familiarity with agentic AI frameworks and protocols such as LangChain, AutoGen, and MCP.
• Prior experience in customer-facing solutions architecture or a field CTO role.
