Business Analyst (Manufacturing Systems)

Location: Onsite in Liberty, North Carolina, United States; standard business hours.

Salary: $47 per hour.

hirify.global is representing a Japanese IT company for a manufacturing systems business analyst contract.

What you will do

• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, engineering, supply chain, and IT stakeholders to identify operational challenges, business goals, and improvement opportunities.
• Gather, analyze, validate, and document business, functional, and technical requirements, including BRDs, use cases, process maps, and user stories.
• Lead process mapping, gap analysis, business process improvement, and Kaizen initiatives across manufacturing and support functions.
• Work with IT teams, software vendors, and project teams on system implementations, upgrades, enhancements, solution reviews, and deployment planning.
• Define business rules, workflows, reports, dashboards, and data requirements.
• Develop UAT plans and test scenarios, coordinate testing, and support change management, user guides, training materials, and end-user training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or in a related role.
• Experience with manufacturing, supply chain, MES/MOM, ERP, or quality systems.
• Experience with requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis, system implementations, and UAT planning.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies and tools such as Microsoft Office, Power BI, Visio, Azure DevOps, or Jira.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills and availability for onsite work in Liberty, North Carolina.
