Technology Risk & Compliance Analyst (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote - Texas; travel up to 30% may be required.

Salary: $85,000–$105,000 annual

What you will do

• Identify, assess, prioritize, document, and monitor technology risks across projects, products, and platforms in the Retail portfolio.
• Conduct risk assessments for new initiatives, including M&A integrations and platform implementations, and integrate mitigation plans into delivery milestones.
• Maintain alignment with internal policies, external regulatory requirements, and GRC frameworks; update policies and standards when needed.
• Support internal and external audits through evidence collection, walkthroughs, control assessments, and remediation tracking.
• Manage technology-related vendor and third-party risks, including control gaps affecting Retail Technology delivery.
• Prepare risk, control effectiveness, KRI, and remediation reporting for Steering Committees and OCIO leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in IT risk, compliance, audit, or cybersecurity.
• Working knowledge of GRC frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and COBIT.
• Knowledge of SOX, SOC controls, GDPR, or similar regulatory standards.
• Experience with risk assessment, control design, audit support, documentation, and remediation.
• Ability to translate technical risk into business impact and executive-level messaging while collaborating with technology and business stakeholders.
