Program Director - Public Works (Civil Engineering)

Location: Hybrid in Columbus, Ohio, United States

Salary: $107,541–$227,956 per year. Typical Columbus range: $113,515–$150,607 per year.

What you will do

• Direct complex, multidisciplinary public works programs comprising multiple related architecture and engineering projects.
• Plan, execute, and deliver programs against scope, schedule, budget, quality, and contractual objectives.
• Coordinate project managers, discipline leads, operations staff, resources, and cross-functional teams.
• Act as the primary program-level client contact, supporting satisfaction, account growth, proposals, and business development.
• Monitor program financials, forecasts, risks, issues, profitability, reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead, supervise, provide technical direction to, and develop team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field with 15 years of direct project management experience in design and construction, or 20 years of related experience and/or training.
• Experience leading teams and managing multiple projects.
• Ability to travel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite products, Deltek, and Newforma.
• Computer skills for daily timesheet entry and Microsoft Outlook communication.
• Professional Engineer licensure and PMP certification are preferred.
