Quality Technician (Biotech)

Location: Devens, Massachusetts, United States; on-site laboratory role with required overtime and weekend availability.

Pay range: $23.20–$31.90 per hour.

What you will do

• Perform in-process and final quality control testing of products.
• Document test results, review batch records, analyze conformity data, and report findings.
• Perform daily equipment qualifications, routine laboratory maintenance, and equipment functionality checks.
• Monitor temperature-controlled areas, environmental conditions, and high-purity water systems using calibrated devices.
• Maintain laboratory inventories, review logbooks, and order supplies and consumables.
• Assist with instrument validations, test method validations, controlled documentation updates, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma with 2+ years of relevant technical experience; or a science/quality associate’s degree with 1+ year of experience; or a science/quality bachelor’s degree with 0+ years of experience.
• Knowledge of good laboratory practices, good manufacturing practices, basic ISO protocols, safety procedures, chemical handling, and laboratory instrumentation.
• Ability to work independently on routine tasks, manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively, and support the training of new employees.
• Availability for overtime and weekend work is required.
• Ability to lift boxes weighing less than 20 pounds and stand at a laboratory bench for extended periods.
