Product Manager, CRO (Biotech)

Location: United States; fully remote. Headquarters are located in Burlington, Massachusetts.

Base salary: $130,000–$145,000 USD annually. Eligible for a discretionary performance bonus.

What you will do

• Own the product vision and strategy for the CRO and supplier side of the biotech ecosystem.
• Conduct discovery with CROs, suppliers, and biotech customers to identify workflows, pain points, and unmet needs.
• Develop and test market hypotheses, validate commercial opportunities, and eliminate ideas that lack evidence.
• Define value propositions and business models that work for biotech customers and research partners.
• Build a phased roadmap, prioritize investments, and communicate trade-offs to business leadership.
• Partner with engineering, product development, data, sales, and client-facing teams through delivery and commercialization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience with direct ownership of product decisions, priorities, and outcomes.
• Hands-on knowledge of the contract research organization ecosystem and CRO operations.
• Experience defining an emerging product space, market, or product line from zero to one.
• Strong customer research, hypothesis development, validation, experimentation, and commercial evaluation skills.
• Ability to create structure in ambiguous environments and align product, engineering, data, sales, business, and client-facing stakeholders.
• Experience with CROs, biotech, life sciences, supplier operations, marketplaces, two-sided platforms, procurement, sourcing, SaaS, or platform products is advantageous.
