Java Backend – Senior (Spring)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal — hybrid, with 3 days per week at the office

Salary: €3,300–€3,700 gross/month, including fixed and variable compensation, meal allowance, remote work allowance, and benefits.

• Design, develop, and enhance robust, scalable, and high-performance backend software components.
• Use Java Spring and modern software development practices to deliver technical solutions.
• Analyze complex technical challenges and propose effective solutions.
• Contribute to technical decisions and solution design across multiple teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams following Agile practices.
• Support and guide team members through technical expertise and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Strong or expert proficiency in Java Spring.
• Strong experience in backend software development and scalable application development.
• Experience evaluating emerging technologies and improving software quality, scalability, and performance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical decision-making skills.
• English proficiency at minimum C1 level.
• Availability to work 3 days per week at the Lisbon office.
