Tech Lead Java Developer (Java)

Location: Hybrid in Porto, Portugal, with office attendance 2–3 times per week

What you will do

• Design, secure, and scale back-end architectures for financial data management applications.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines across the delivery lifecycle.
• Ensure high data quality and consistency across multiple referential data sources using PostgreSQL.
• Translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
• Engage with end users during validation phases.
• Contribute to Agile planning, tracking, and documentation using Jira, Confluence, and ALM.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience as a Java Developer.
• Mastery of Java 21 and strong proficiency with the Java Spring framework.
• Solid command of CI/CD pipelines.
• Advanced SQL skills with PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and Jira, Confluence, and ALM.
• Fluent English at B2 level; based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit.
