Commercial Construction Project Manager (Industrial)

Location: Falls Church, Virginia, United States

Salary: $96,800–$132,000 per year, with potential performance-based bonuses.

What you will do

• Develop, coordinate, and manage industrial commercial construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
• Create and manage project budgets, schedules, milestones, logistics, and monthly owner reports.
• Develop pre-construction RFP packages and establish processes for RFIs, submittals, and pay applications.
• Approve pay applications, negotiate subcontractor change orders, and maintain project quality and safety documentation.
• Lead project meetings and collaborate with the superintendent, site operations team, clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Supervise, coach, and train assistant project management and operations support staff.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; a four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business is strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of commercial construction experience, including experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Previous project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to read, interpret, and update construction drawings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Procore, Adobe, Bluebeam, and JD Edwards, or ability to master project-specific software systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, decision-making, collaboration, and customer service skills.
