Certified Pharmacy Technician (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Process electronic, faxed, and verbal prescriptions according to established protocols, focusing on complex and higher-difficulty entries.
• Manage inbound and outbound communications with providers and physicians, including warm-transfer calls.
• Resolve open issues submitted by pharmacists, technicians, and the Incident Coordinator team.
• Complete pharmacy technician duties safely and in compliance with corporate policies and state and federal laws.

Requirements

• At least six months of prior pharmacy technician or similar industry experience.
• PTCB or NHA certification before joining.
• Active Pharmacy Technician license or Pharmacy Technician in Training license in Idaho, registered with the Idaho Board of Pharmacy.
• Professional phone presence in a support or service capacity.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, technical aptitude, and ability to learn complex software.
• Competence in basic pharmacy calculations.
