Pharmacy Technician, Fulfillment - BioPlus Specialty Pharmacy

Location: Lake Mary, Florida, United States; full-time onsite work required. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM–8:00 PM EST, with holidays as needed. Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance unless an accommodation is granted by law.

What you will do

• Prepare, count, weigh, measure, pour, fill, and label prescriptions, including controlled substances and automated medication systems.
• Enter and verify prescription data in the pharmacy adjudication platform for pharmacist verification.
• Assist the pharmacist with reviewing, processing, preparing, filling, labeling, and dispensing medications and supplies.
• Communicate with prescribers, customers, pharmacy staff, and other parties to complete prescriptions.
• Maintain prescription records, physician orders, inventory accuracy, and product expiration controls.
• Maintain a clean and safe pharmacy while complying with applicable procedures and regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, plus at least one year of experience as a registered pharmacy technician in a pharmacy environment, or equivalent education and experience.
• Valid Registered Pharmacy Technician certification is required.
• Knowledge of pharmacy terminology and prescription processing procedures.
• Ability to work the specified onsite schedule and comply with applicable state and federal pharmacy requirements.
• English proficiency is required for communication with prescribers, customers, and staff.

Nice to have

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential.
• Experience in a high-volume retail or dispensing pharmacy.
• Experience with a pharmacy adjudication platform.
• Bilingual communication skills.
