Pharmacy Technician II (Healthcare)

Location: Primarily virtual full-time work based within a reasonable commuting distance of Lake Mary, Florida, United States; required in-person training sessions. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 12:30 PM-9:00 PM EST.

What you will do

• Interpret and accurately enter moderately complex and specialty prescriptions for pharmacist review.
• Verify member information and resolve prescription adjudication issues, discrepancies, and missing details.
• Contact provider offices and healthcare professionals to clarify prescription information and prevent therapy delays.
• Educate members about prescription rules, medication resources, assistance programs, formulary, and prescription benefits.
• Address grievances and appeals while responding to inquiries from physicians, sales teams, and members.
• Process orders according to regulatory requirements, internal procedures, safety, quality, and service standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of pharmacy experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Active pharmacy technician license and state or national certification as required by applicable United States state or territory regulations.
• For the CPCC business area, a current Pharmacy Technician license and certification are required.
• Strong verbal and written communication, documentation, computer, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to identify incomplete prescription information and obtain clarification through high-volume outbound calls.
