3DP Machine Lab Technician - DMLS (3D Printing)

Location: Raleigh, NC, United States; on-site. Tuesday–Saturday, 10:30am–7:00pm. Due to ITAR regulations, applicants must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, or eligible refugees or asylees; temporary visa holders are not eligible.

Salary: $20–$24 per hour.

What you will do

• Set up DMLS machines for scheduled builds and turn over machines according to established procedures.
• Remove builds, complete breakout processes, and prepare machines for rebuilds after crashes.
• Handle raw materials, blend materials according to recipes, sieve powder, and stir vats.
• Maintain machine cleanliness, perform light maintenance, and report issues to the Maintenance team.
• Coordinate build timelines and issues with pre- and post-build teams.
• Maintain inventory, complete checklists, follow safety and quality procedures, and keep the lab clean.

Requirements

• Computer aptitude with complex database applications, Windows, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, problem-solving, punctuality, and ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Ability to learn new techniques and operate and maintain a clean, safe laboratory environment.
• Required use of PPE, including gloves, lab coats, safety glasses, and steel-toed footwear.
• Ability to work standing for up to 75% of the time and lift or move more than 50 pounds.
• Must meet the role’s ITAR eligibility requirements for work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Prior manufacturing experience.
• Experience operating or maintaining manufacturing machines.
