Security Technical Program Manager (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote USA

Salary: $180,000–$230,000 per year, geo-adjusted based on location.

What you will do

• Define and communicate the security program strategy, priorities, metrics, and progress.
• Coordinate execution across detection and response, corporate security, and product security.
• Shape the procurement and implementation of security tools and maintain the security technology stack.
• Manage priorities, backlogs, roadmaps, program rituals, and cross-team dependencies.
• Translate security requirements and risk into actionable plans for approximately 70 product engineers.
• Build communication channels and trust across engineering stakeholders.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a TPM or PM embedded with a security team that builds tooling and systems in-house.
• Strong computer engineering fundamentals and the ability to discuss technical details with security engineers.
• Experience defining and communicating technical programs to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong prioritization and backlog management skills.
• Experience acting as a technical liaison between specialized security teams and a distributed engineering organization.
