Quality Inspector-1st Shift

Location: Anoka, Minnesota, United States — onsite, first shift

Compensation: $17.20–$31.90 per hour

What you will do

• Perform comprehensive product inspections using work instructions, checklists, drawings, and defined acceptance criteria.
• Use precision and non-precision gauges, meters, tools, and measurement equipment to verify product conformity.
• Identify non-conforming products and initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Verify that no active NCRs remain before completing product inspections.
• Prioritize inspection tasks and organize workload to support operational delivery goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of experience in quality processes; experience with Quality Management Systems is preferred.
• Experience with precision metal fabrication measurement tools and techniques is preferred.
• Ability to use calipers, micrometers, paint mil gauges, hardness testers, CMMs, measuring tables, optical comparators, and functional testers.
• Ability to interpret and apply Quality System and ISO procedures and documentation, perform basic math and geometry, and maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, learn measurement equipment quickly, use Microsoft Office, and communicate across functional areas.
