MEP Manager

Location: Alexandria, Louisiana, United States; initially based on a large data center project near Alexandria. Travel is required for project work.

Estimated pay: $116,000–$192,000 per year.

What you will do

• Coordinate and manage mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection work from design coordination through completion and closeout.
• Plan, schedule, and supervise MEP work while coordinating with project teams, officials, clients, agencies, subcontractors, and design teams.
• Review plans for constructability and cost feasibility, assess project risks, and resolve MEP issues during construction.
• Manage MEP progress, costs, budgets, quantity surveys, pricing, schedules, RFPs, and subcontractor coordination.
• Lead model-based coordination, design meetings, pre-bid meetings, commissioning meetings, drawings, and 3D models.
• Manage MEP quality plans, submittals, inspections, audits, compliance testing, remediation, and safety coordination.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 6+ years of MEP and commercial construction experience, including progressively responsible leadership experience.
• 5+ years of design or project management experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and other 3D software.
• Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Demonstrated integrity, ethical standards, operational effectiveness, and ability to manage detailed work under time constraints.
