Location: Denver, Colorado, United States; onsite. Employees must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer without current or future visa sponsorship. Candidates residing in AK, AR, CA, CT, DE, HI, KY, MA, RI, VT, or PR cannot be hired at this time; relocation may be considered.
Salary: $70,000–$90,000 per year, based on skills and experience.

What you will do
- Design HVAC and plumbing systems for buildings and facilities using mechanical engineering principles.
- Perform engineering calculations and analyses to assess existing systems and select new systems for optimal performance.
- Develop construction plans in Revit, specifications, and cost estimates under the supervision of professional engineers.
- Conduct site visits to verify existing conditions and assess system efficacy and remaining design life.
- Prepare technical reports covering engineering analyses, code studies, system assessments, remediation recommendations, energy optimization, and life-cycle costs.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, surveyors, scientists, clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a closely related discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Previous experience with Revit and mechanical engineering projects.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively while requesting guidance when needed.
- Authorization to work for any employer in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Nice to have
- Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam or EIT status.
- LEED GA or AP certification.
- Understanding of ASHRAE, NFPA, and ICC codes and standards.
- Knowledge of other CAD software.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for meetings, client consultations, and site visits.
