Sr. Commercial Property Underwriter (Property)

What you will do

• Manage and service an existing renewal book of commercial property insurance.
• Produce and underwrite new accounts from assigned brokers.
• Analyze pricing and coverage for manuscript forms and tailor solutions to account needs.
• Present insurance solutions and market accounts to brokers and insured clients.
• Make decisions on new-business opportunities and renewals while maintaining portfolio profitability.
• Support broker communications, training, cross-selling, and departmental growth objectives.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing a large and diverse property insurance book across multiple brokers.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent industry education and experience.
• Fluent English in written and spoken communication required.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently to meet deadlines and collaborate effectively in a team.
• Confident use of systems and PC applications, especially spreadsheets.
