Casualty Claims Adjuster

Location: Dublin, Ireland; primarily office-based

What you will do

• Handle EL, PL, product liability, and commercial motor fleet claims from notification through conclusion.
• Appoint investigators and expert witnesses for claims.
• Instruct defence solicitors on litigated claims and attend court when required.
• Work with brokers and policyholders to resolve claims and provide customer service, including client review meetings.
• Set accurate reserves in line with the claims reserving philosophy.
• Resolve claims promptly while minimizing indemnity exposure and mitigating vendor and legal expenses.

Requirements

• Experience handling motor bodily injury and liability claims.
• Basic knowledge of legal, regulatory, litigation, and procedural requirements for this line of business.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage, prioritize, and diary workloads effectively.
• Ability to contribute effectively within a team and build relationships with clients and brokers.
• Ability to work primarily from the Dublin office.

• CIP qualification or equivalent.
