Associate or Associate Director, Investment & Acquisitions or Strategy (Renewable Energy)

Location: New York, NY, United States

Annual base salary: $100,000–$160,000, plus variable compensation.

What you will do

• Support market strategy and new project origination decisions through power market research, trend tracking, and data analysis.
• Analyze electricity market fundamentals to identify attractive markets for renewable energy and energy storage.
• Research renewable energy demand opportunities with U.S. corporations and utilities and maintain competitive benchmarks.
• Build and review financial models covering project returns, capital structure, risks, and potential upside.
• Lead due diligence and manage third-party deliverables throughout transaction processes.
• Support acquisitions, debt and tax equity financings, and opportunistic sales across hirify.global’s project portfolio.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree and at least two years of experience for the Associate level.
• Financial modeling capabilities, preferably in Excel.
• Strong academic and professional achievement with well-developed communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a small team and manage multiple projects with strong organization.
• High motivation and demonstrated interest in or experience with renewable energy projects and/or U.S. electricity markets preferred.
