Parts Inspector / Finish Repair Tech (Final Finish)

Location: Vonore, Tennessee, United States; onsite manufacturing role

Pay: $21.42–$24.05 per hour, with potential eligibility for annual discretionary or short-term incentives

What you will do

• Construct and repair fiberglass boat hulls, decks, and small parts.
• Examine and measure boat parts and components against specified standards and tolerances.
• Use calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines to verify dimensions and identify defects.
• Document inspection findings and maintain accurate quality records.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and report hazards to the supervisor.

Requirements

• Previous quality control or inspection experience, preferably in manufacturing or a marine environment.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools and equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines.
• Strong attention to detail when identifying defects and inconsistencies.
• Ability to document inspection findings accurately and consistently.
• Ability to wear designated personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and gloves.
• Basic understanding of OSHA, DEP, and other regulatory agencies.

Nice to have

• High school diploma or GED.
• Advanced proficiency with precision measuring tools and equipment.
• Experience resolving quality issues and recommending corrective actions.
