Safety Intern (EHS)

Location: Onsite at hirify.global's Minneapolis Plant, United States

Salary: Starting at $22.00/hour

What you will do

• Lead or contribute to projects improving EHS data collection, management, and communication from facilities to the enterprise level.
• Support the development and implementation of corporate EHS policies, procedures, training, and programs.
• Contribute to initiatives involving MNOSHA, CWA, RCRA, SPCC, and ESG.
• Work with cross-functional teams to promote safety and environmental stewardship.
• Collaborate with site EHS leaders and corporate staff on projects and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Prior internship or work experience in a safety-related position.
• Strong organizational and technical skills, problem-solving, decision-making, collaboration, and teamwork abilities.
• Demonstrated project management skills and ability to balance multiple assignments.
