Customs Reconciliation and Post Entry Specialist

What you will do

• Build and maintain client relationships through proactive email and verbal communication.
• Research, compile, and prepare regulatory documents required by US Customs and Border Protection.
• Use ACE data and work in ACE to create, run, and review reports.
• Prepare Post Summary Corrections, Protests, Prior Disclosures, and Reconciliations.
• Research and interpret complex regulations and write technical correspondence and procedural documents.
• Analyze spreadsheets to validate duty and fee calculations and collaborate on process improvements.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to independently research complex regulatory topics and produce persuasive technical writing.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Excel or Access for data review, manipulation, and auditing.
• Ability to meet demanding deadlines, manage competing priorities, and adapt to changing workloads.
• Strong planning, organization, multitasking, and self-management skills.
• Some college-level study in finance, accounting, or mathematics is preferred.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in trade compliance, customs brokerage, post-entry submissions, or customs reconciliation entry processes.
