Finance Analyst

What you will do

• Partner with Finance and Operations leaders and offshore teams to deliver accurate, timely financial information.
• Support month-end close through operational cost journals, accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Extract, reconcile, and analyse financial and operational data from multiple systems.
• Investigate data discrepancies, system issues, and reporting variances to maintain data integrity.
• Provide insights on store labour, repairs and maintenance, and other operating costs.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, dashboards, and reporting templates for store operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Four to seven years of experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A, or a similar finance business partnering role.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience with D365, JD Edwards, Power BI, or TM1 Cognos is highly regarded.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and tight reporting deadlines.
• Full Australian working rights are required.

Nice to have

• CPA or CA qualification.
• Experience in retail, convenience, fuel, hospitality, quick service restaurants, franchising, or another customer-facing multi-site business.
• Prior audit experience.
