ERP Developer/Analyst (Construction ERP)

Location: Dallas, United States; occasional travel to regional offices, project sites, and conferences may be required.

What you will do

• Develop, debug, and optimize Oracle PL/SQL database objects, including stored procedures, functions, views, triggers, indexes, and constraints.
• Write ad-hoc queries and reports and develop BI dashboards to support business needs.
• Support the ERP system, external integrations, database backups, security, stability, and functionality.
• Coordinate system upgrades, patches, releases, regression testing, validation, and disaster recovery planning.
• Partner with HR, Accounting, and Design and Construction teams to identify improvements and implement solutions.
• Triage customer issues, manage vendor requests, create user accounts and documentation, and provide user training and helpdesk support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or an equivalent field.
• 4+ years of database development in an Oracle environment and 4+ years writing and debugging stored procedures, functions, views, triggers, indexes, and constraints.
• 2+ years of experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, or Jasper.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, database design, modeling, performance tuning, communication, and customer service skills.
• Advanced use of Windows applications and file systems, including RDP, UNC paths, folder permissions, and batch scripting.

Nice to have

• CMiC or other construction ERP experience.
• Experience with Toad, advanced Excel formulas, Power Query, and Pivot Tables.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, PowerShell, Python, or other scripting languages.
