Health & Safety Coordinator

What you will do

• Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of health and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Follow up on risk assessments, workplace inspections, action plans, audits, and health and safety reviews.
• Track, analyse, and report incidents, near misses, and health and safety performance indicators.
• Support health and safety training, awareness activities, communications, crisis preparedness, and cross-functional initiatives.
• Partner with Retail Operations, People, Facilities, Security, stores, external partners, and authorities to identify risks and preventive measures.
• Maintain accurate health and safety documentation and contribute to improved ways of working.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in health and safety, risk management, security, operations, or a related field.
• Experience coordinating initiatives, projects, or compliance-related activities.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation, standards, and best practices, or the ability to develop this knowledge quickly.
• Experience with data, reporting, and Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to translate requirements into practical business solutions and manage multiple priorities independently.
• Strong communication, collaboration, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
