FSQ External Manufacturing Intern (Food Safety & Quality)

Location: Nijmegen, Netherlands; EU working rights required

What you will do

• Manage and resolve consumer and customer complaints, acting as the technical bridge between service teams and external producing facilities.
• Perform and review root cause analyses and support corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Communicate with external manufacturers and support data analysis and complaint management.
• Contribute to the transformation of the digital quality management system as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Assist with developing and maintaining product specifications in line with regulatory requirements and company standards.
• Support product quarantine and release activities to ensure compliance with food safety and quality requirements.

Requirements

• Current HBO or WO Bachelor’s or Master’s student in Food Quality Management, Food Technology, or Food Safety.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food operations.
• Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data, with familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a strong interest in data and systems.
• EU working rights required. EU/EEA students must be enrolled at a Dutch university for at least 50% of the internship period; non-EU students must be enrolled at a Dutch university for the full internship period.
• Fluent written and spoken English required. Dutch is not required.
