Electrical Engineer (Data Centres)

What you will do

• Design and deliver electrical building services systems from concept through construction.
• Prepare engineering calculations, reports, specifications and coordinated design documentation.
• Support power distribution, lighting, earthing, standby power and related electrical infrastructure design.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate technical interfaces.
• Support construction-phase services, including site inspections, technical queries and contractor submission reviews.
• Develop technical capability and project delivery skills while working with Senior Engineers, Associates and technical leaders.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Approximately 2–6 years of experience in electrical building services consulting.
• Experience contributing to building services projects, including commercial, industrial, health, defence, education, sports and aquatic, mixed-use or data centre projects.
• Experience preparing technical reports, specifications and design documentation.
• Experience with load assessments, fault studies and coordination studies.
• Knowledge of Australian electrical standards, codes and regulatory requirements, with exposure to HV and LV power distribution systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with ETAP, SKM, PowerCad, Revit or similar design and analysis tools.
• Data centre or mission critical project experience.
