Location: United States; remote work. Travel as needed for business needs, with a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends.

What you will do

  • Lead daily RCM operations across patient access, eligibility, authorizations, coding and billing, cash applications, accounts receivable, and patient financial services.
  • Manage RCM staff, supervisors, managers, third-party vendors, and internal teams across multiple practices and service lines.
  • Monitor KPIs, denial trends, and days in A/R; develop action plans to improve performance and reduce financial risk.
  • Oversee policy development, workflow improvement, staff training, performance evaluations, and employee development.
  • Support onboarding for new clinics, providers, and service lines into RCM workflows.
  • Resolve complex reimbursement, payer, coding, billing, and patient financial concerns while presenting operational insights to leadership.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant healthcare and RCM leadership experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the managed-care payer market and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills; knowledge of practice management software.
  • High integrity, attention to detail, strong organization, and ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Coding certification is preferred; Flatiron OncoEMR proficiency is desired but not required.

Nice to have

  • Oncology or clinic experience.
  • Coding certification and Flatiron OncoEMR experience.
