Senior Import Consultant (Trade Compliance)

Location: Hanahan, South Carolina, USA; up to 25% travel may be required.

What you will do

• Establish clear communications with internal and external stakeholders.
• Research U.S. Customs and Partner Government Agency regulations.
• Draft analysis and opinion letters.
• Audit import entries and assess importer compliance with U.S. Customs regulations.
• Manage multiple ongoing projects, deadlines, and daily project-time tracking.
• Contribute to departmental improvements while working independently and collaboratively.

Requirements

• 5+ years of import compliance experience.
• Strong understanding of U.S. Customs and Partner Government Agency requirements.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• U.S. Customs Broker license and Access database skills preferred.
