Director, Global Trade & Customs Advisory

Location: Hybrid role based in Atlanta, Fort Lauderdale, or Charlotte, United States, with in-person attendance at least three days per week at a hirify.global office or client site.

What you will do

• Advise C-suite and executive-level trade, tax, supply chain, and finance leaders at multinational clients.
• Lead large-scale, multi-country Global Trade and Customs Advisory engagements across multiple workstreams.
• Provide strategic guidance on import/export compliance, tariff classification, valuation, origin, free trade agreements, duty optimization, trade remedies, and regulatory change.
• Review and approve engagement scopes, deliverables, and conclusions for technical accuracy and defensibility.
• Serve as a senior escalation point for complex technical and regulatory matters while maintaining firm quality, independence, and risk standards.
• Lead and develop Global Trade professionals, drive client relationships and revenue generation, and scale the practice through collaboration with Tax, Supply Chain, Technology, and Advisory leaders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, International Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
• At least 12 years of experience in customs and global trade, including significant professional services experience.
• Deep expertise in U.S. and international customs and global trade regulations.
• Experience leading Global Trade technology implementations and large-scale advisory engagements.
• Demonstrated success in revenue generation, client relationship management, and practice growth.
• Strong executive-level communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
