TL;DR
Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (Finance): Leading APAC financial planning, reporting, and business partnering across wholesale distribution, technology solutions, and training/consulting with an accent on budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and Power BI transformation. Focus on developing finance analysts, improving self-service reporting, analysing P&L and working capital, and translating financial insights into strategic decisions.
Location: Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, based out of the Erskine Park office with flexible hybrid work-from-home options.

What you will do
- Partner with APAC business leaders across wholesale distribution, technology solutions, and training and consulting.
- Act as a key finance business partner for the Technology Solutions business.
- Lead and develop a diverse team of Financial Analysts.
- Improve the finance business partner model to increase visibility and support business performance and strategic goals.
- Lead the adoption of Power BI, data visualisation, self-service reporting, and actionable insights across Finance and the wider business.
- Own budgeting and forecasting, variance analysis, risk and opportunity identification, and internal reporting covering P&L, balance sheet, working capital, pricing, sales, and margins.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Commerce, or a related field, with CA or CPA qualifications.
- Experience working in a diverse, international environment and leading and developing finance professionals.
- Experience developing and embedding Power BI solutions that improve financial reporting, automation, and analytical capability.
- Experience in financial analysis and modelling, preferably in an inventory-based environment.
- Strong influencing, stakeholder management, commercial judgement, and communication skills.
- Advanced Power BI and Microsoft Excel skills, including building and interpreting financial models.
