Hoist Operator 2 (2nd Shift)

Location: Commerce, California, USA; onsite, second shift Wednesday–Sunday, 12:15 PM–8:30 PM

Pay: $18.25 per hour national range; actual pay may vary by location, experience, skills, shift, and performance.

What you will do

• Stage, load, and ship prepared mailings in compliance with company policies and USPS requirements.
• Unload incoming raw materials and load finished goods using powered industrial equipment.
• Schedule shipments, prioritize daily loads, coordinate deliveries, and address carrier issues.
• Record receiving and inventory movements in computerized warehouse and transportation systems.
• Coordinate with machine leads, site supervision, material handlers, postal personnel, and other departments.
• Maintain warehouse organization, complete inventories, prepare reports, and support employee safety orientation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; an associate’s degree is preferred.
• 1–3 years of related experience.
• Powered Industrial Truck Certification required.
• Knowledge of USPS shipping requirements and transportation, production, and receiving procedures.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and warehouse, transportation, or inventory systems.
• Ability to carry, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds and work around moving mechanical parts, dust, paper particles, and industrial lift trucks.
