Equipment Maintenance Technician (Semiconductor Wafer Fab)

Location: 100% onsite in Palm Bay, Florida, United States. Compressed work week with 3-day and 4-day shifts; day and night shifts are available.

What you will do

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electro-mechanical manufacturing equipment.
• Support equipment operations in a Class 1 cleanroom within a semiconductor wafer fabrication facility.
• Maintain equipment in wafer fab areas such as Diffusion/LPCVD, EPI, Etch, or Thin Films.
• Diagnose, test, repair, install, and operate electromechanical equipment using electrical repair procedures.
• Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings to troubleshoot equipment issues.

Requirements

• AS or AA degree in electronics, electrical or mechanical engineering, or military training in electronics, avionics, or nuclear power support.
• At least 3 years of experience maintaining equipment in one or more wafer fab functional areas.
• Strong mechanical and electronic skills, including knowledge of pneumatic, vacuum, hydraulic, and robotic systems.
• Ability to diagnose, test, and repair equipment using electrical repair procedures.
• Strong written and oral communication, problem-solving skills, and familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. Person because this is an ITAR role; must be able to lift 40 pounds.
