Manufacturing Engineer - Bending

Location: Zeeland, Michigan, United States; onsite production-floor role

What you will do

• Monitor and improve production flow, yield, uptime, equipment performance, and process capability.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and prioritize production-line projects using business best practices.
• Identify and implement improvements that reduce process variation caused by equipment or product design.
• Lead technical responses to 8D and RMA quality concerns and maintain effective process controls.
• Collaborate with production group leaders, Production Support Engineers, team members, and other departments to resolve quality issues, rejects, and customer requirements.
• Develop and mentor Production Support Engineers and assist with control plans, FMEAs, process flow charts, and assembly drawings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, scientific, or related field.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Analytical ability to understand and solve technical issues in a team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to work directly on the production floor.
• Flexibility to adjust the work schedule for production and business needs, including occasional vendor and customer travel.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; employment authorization is verified through E-Verify.

• Ability to use SolidWorks, PLCs, and other manufacturing software platforms.
• Self-motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision.
