Project Executive (Construction)

Location: Rochester, Minnesota, United States; travel to project work sites is required.

Estimated pay: $152,000–$240,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead large-scale, complex construction projects and project management activities for the Rochester division.
• Direct preconstruction, constructability reviews, budgets, estimates, schedules, project teams, and design coordination.
• Manage project costs, cash flow, risk assessments, trade contracts, bidding, buy-out, change orders, and close-out activities.
• Build client relationships, serve as the primary client interface, and support new business development and proposal efforts.
• Develop, coach, retain, and provide performance leadership for project management and project teams.
• Ensure quality, safety, compliance, and timely project delivery while meeting profitability expectations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or equivalent with 10+ years of construction project management experience; alternatively, an associate degree with 12+ years of related experience.
• 4+ years of people management experience.
• Advanced proficiency with scheduling, spreadsheets, cost control, and construction project management software, including Prolog, Microsoft Project, and P6.
• Experience with value engineering, life cycle costing, project profitability, multiple contract types, CMR, and Design-Build delivery methods.
• Ability to read building plans and specifications, assess constructability and cost feasibility, and manage project risks and budgets.
• Current or ability to become current with OSHA 30 and company safety requirements; ability to travel to project work sites.
