Project Executive

Location: Chicago, IL, United States; full-time onsite role

Salary: $170,000–$210,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead the planning, coordination, execution, and closeout of construction projects.
• Manage budgeting, bidding, estimating, cost control, change management, billing, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Own client relationships and assigned national accounts while supporting business development and new project opportunities.
• Lead internal and external project teams and participate in staffing decisions with office leadership.
• Coach and mentor Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers, including support with difficult project issues.
• Develop and deliver training on construction best practices, technical skills, and professional skills.

Requirements

• 13+ years of construction project management experience, including 5 years specifically in commercial construction.
• Experience managing field operations, scheduling, quality control, and subcontractor coordination.
• Strong estimating, budgeting, lump-sum bidding, cost control, and change management skills.
• Strong drawing review skills and solid technical knowledge of construction trades.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to work with high-end clients.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering preferred; equivalent strong experience may be considered. Resume, references, and a project list are required.
