Senior Analyst, Settlement Operations

Location: Quezon City, National Capital Region, Philippines; hybrid work with a minimum expectation of 3 days per week in the office and 2 days from home. A valid work permit for the Philippines is mandatory.

What you will do

• Conduct pre-settlement checks and affirm cash flows for Interest Rates and Credit Derivatives trades with counterparties.
• Detect, escalate, and resolve booking issues involving direction, currency, index, notional, counterparties, and related trade details.
• Monitor settlements and payment task stations to ensure accurate and timely processing.
• Approve journals and payments while identifying and managing operational risks.
• Supervise team activities, ensure compliance with procedures, and serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point.
• Support the manager and perform investigations as required by the team scope.

Requirements

• Degree in Business, Management, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• At least 18 months of relevant experience with a strong performance record.
• Strong knowledge of financial markets, trade life cycle processes, settlements, reconciliations, cash management, and investigations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to perform interest cash-flow calculations.
• Familiarity with ISDA definitions, market standards, and SWIFT messages including MT101, MT199, MT202/202COV, MT299, and MT103.
• Valid work permit for the Philippines required; hybrid office attendance of at least 3 days per week required. Applications must be submitted in English.

• Experience with Calypso or Summit.
• VBA knowledge and interest in improving processes.
