Outbound Warehouse Supervisor (Animal Health)

Location: Lexington, Kentucky, United States; onsite distribution-center role

What you will do

• Supervise outbound distribution activities, including shipping, routing, and related administrative tasks.
• Partner with the Outbound Manager to meet company requirements and exceed customer delivery expectations.
• Optimize distribution-center processes and layout for picking, packing, and shipping orders.
• Serve as the main contact for outbound shipment inquiries and coordinate issue resolution with Sales, Regulatory, and Quality Affairs.
• Provide daily performance updates and help develop action plans for current-day operations.
• Gather customer-expectation feedback and implement improvements to the outbound experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; operations, logistics, supply chain, or business studies preferred.
• At least three years of experience in a warehouse or production environment.
• At least three years of leadership experience in a warehouse or production environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, plus proficiency with Microsoft and computer systems.
• Experience with receiving, shipping, inventory control, and distribution processes.
• Ability to meet applicable local or state certification and licensing requirements.

Nice to have

• Forklift certification.
• Green Belt or equivalent Lean Six Sigma training.
