Laboratory Technician - Eurofins Environment Testing - Ridgeland, MS (Environmental Testing)

Location: Ridgeland, Mississippi, USA; onsite, Monday–Friday day shift. Candidates should live within a commutable distance of Ridgeland.

What you will do

• Retrieve samples from Sample Control for laboratory analysis.
• Prepare samples using aliquoting, spiking and tracing, reagent preparation, concentration preparation, separation, sonication, liquid rack setup, and microbiology methods.
• Resolve sample-labeling discrepancies and anomalies.
• Record analysis results, track samples, and maintain bench sheets and laboratory logbooks.
• Maintain laboratory areas, wash glassware, stock supplies, and build bottle kits for clients.
• Support a safe working environment and assist other laboratory areas as needed.

Requirements

• Two- to four-year degree in science.
• Chemistry coursework and basic laboratory experience.
• General knowledge of chemistry or general science, basic mathematics, and production work capability.
• Strong organization, communication, problem-solving, multitasking, independent-work, and time-management skills.
• Professional working proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Authorization to work indefinitely in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.
