Field Assistant Superintendent (Construction)

Location: Fort Worth, United States; on-site construction work required

What you will do

• Sequence work with subcontractors and vendors to support successful project execution.
• Supervise or direct laborers, craft workers, and assigned project scopes.
• Interpret construction documents, plans, and specifications.
• Coordinate with Project Engineers on RFIs, shop drawings, submittals, and record drawings.
• Monitor work quality and enforce OSHA and company safety procedures.
• Support scheduling, field layout, daily reports, and Lean Construction practices.

Requirements

• 0–3 years of relevant construction experience.
• Relevant college degree, or experience as a Field Foreman or Field Engineer with basic safety awareness and supervisory experience.
• Fundamental understanding of project documents and building construction.
• Ability to maintain daily reports, solve problems proactively, and communicate collaboratively.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather, move around uneven job-site surfaces, climb ladders and stairs, and move equipment weighing up to 50 lb.
• Consistent and timely attendance is required.

Nice to have

• Internship with a commercial construction company.
• Experience with Excel, Procore, Bluebeam, Egnyte, CMiC, Revit, or comparable construction technologies.
