What you will do

• Gather, analyze, and document business and cybersecurity requirements with business and technical stakeholders.
• Support the implementation and enhancement of data protection solutions, including Symantec DLP, Microsoft Purview, and Zscaler DLP.
• Create and execute business test cases to validate data protection policies and security controls.
• Map data protection requirements to governance frameworks and compliance obligations.
• Validate solution designs, monitor control effectiveness metrics, and support audit readiness through documentation and evidence collection.
• Lead medium-to-large Data Protection and Cyber Security initiatives while coordinating testing, implementation, and operational activities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in data protection, cybersecurity, risk, or compliance.
• Strong understanding of data protection principles, DLP policies, and information security fundamentals.
• Experience with Symantec DLP, Microsoft Purview, Zscaler, or equivalent data security tools.
• Experience creating, executing, and validating security policy test cases.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of encryption, secure data handling, data classification, and data governance frameworks.
• Exposure to cloud security and SaaS application risk management.
• Experience in a regulated enterprise environment, particularly financial services.
