Lending Manager-Loans (Fintech)

What you will do

• Lead a team of underwriters and drive production, efficiency, service levels, and loan quality.
• Monitor underwriting quality, credit quality, receivables, and alignment with risk appetite.
• Review exceptions and complex applications outside underwriter authority.
• Improve turnaround times and customer service for loan-originating sources.
• Translate strategy into team production and customer service expectations.
• Coach, develop, train, and provide performance feedback to underwriters.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, with equivalent related work experience accepted.
• At least 5 years of experience in a fast-paced sales environment.
• Experience in auto dealer and finance industry underwriting is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for evaluating loan risk and reward.
• Knowledge of underwriting policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal laws.
